Capital markets week ahead: ZTO Express, Palantir, CTP

RETURN FLIGHT The long march of Chinese companies with New York listings back to the relative safety of Hong Kong continues, with another three secondary listings in the territory scheduled this week. ZTO Express, which delivers packages ordered on Alibaba and which listed to great fanfare in the US four years ago, is the biggest, set to raise US$1.4bn on Tuesday.The same day, biotech Zai Lab hopes to raise US$830m, while a US$480m deal from e-commerce firm Baozun is slated for Wednesday. All are ploughing ahead with secondary listings despite mixed appetite for such deals - Yum China shares fell 5% on their Hong Kong debut earlier this month. But, with US authorities threatening more rigorous oversight, the pressure is on.
