Mediobanca sets out growth plans

Italy's mediobanca has set out a new four-year strategy to grow revenues by 4% annually to €3bn and improve returns on tangible equity by one percentage point over the period to 11%. That could see €2.5bn returned to shareholders by lifting the dividend by 10% next year and then by 5% in each of the next three years, in addition to a €600m share buyback programme.
