Moelis poaches JPM banker for Dutch expansion

Moelis & company has poached Peter KercVhoffs from jp morcan as a managing director in Amsterdam to expand the US boutique advisory firm's activities in the Netherlands and northern Europe. Kerckhoffs will start in December. He was head ofJP Morgan's business in the Netherlands, and had spent 21 years at the US bank, including a spell as head of Benelux and Nordic M&A. Moelis has acted for a number of Netherlands corporates, including biotech Galapagos on its US$5.1bn deal with Gilead Sciences.
