Greece to keep it short for bond market return

Greece is expected to keep it short for its return to the bond market - a deal that could emerge as early as this week - disappointing bankers who have been pushing the sovereign to do a long-dated trade. Cyprus, Spain and Italy have all taken advantage of investors' clamour for yield to raise 30-year funding in 2019 but expectations are that Greece will instead opt for a short-dated deal. "I am sure all of us are trying to push for them to go longer because we could sell it in [this] environment," said a debt capital markets banker.
