Pemex finance MD steps down

Carlos Caraveo has stepped down as associate managing director of finance at pemex after working almost 26 years at the Mexican oil firm and its subsidiaries, sources tell 1FR. Caraveo's departure comes after President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, also known as AMLO, slashed public sector salaries, including his own, as part of a plan to increase social and infrastructure spending while maintaining a fiscal balance.
