Wells Fargo looks outside for CEO

Wells fargo chief executive Tim Sloan has quit with immediate effect and the US bank said it will look outside its ranks for the next permanent boss. The bank has handed the reins to C. Allen Parker, the bank's general counsel, on a temporary basis. The decision came weeks after Sloan was grilled by US legislators during a Congressional oversight hearing over a string of consumer scandals.
