UBS was sole bookrunner on a £271m ABB issue last Tuesday evening, as CVC sold 10% of cybersecurity company avast. Shares floundered last Wednesday following the aggressively priced trade, which came at a 4.3% discount and represented around 60-70 days' trading volume. Pricing came at 284p per share against the previous close of 296.8p. A total of 95.4m shares were sold, with CVC left holding 12.6% of Avast.
