M&A on pace for record year

Global M&A is a US$1trn quarter away from setting a new annual record for transaction volume, according to Refinitiv data. Deals continued a run for the record books with worldwide transaction value hitting US$3.3trn in the first nine months of the year, up 37% from the year-ago period.
