Thirty fewer exhibitors and a 10% decline in attendance at the December 2002 edition of Expofil, the twice-yearly yarn and fibers show held in Paris, France, clearly reflected the doldrums of the European yarn market. The show's organizers, nevertheless, said they are not disillusioned and will continue to invest in new initiatives designed to accommodate changes in the industry's structure and schedules.
