A wareness of the label "Confidence in Textiles -Tested for Harmful Substances According to Oeko-Tex Standard 100" has almost doubled over the past four years. This is the result of a representative survey conducted by GfK Market Research last fall on behalf of the German Oeko-Tex Certification Center involving 1,046 people over the age of 14 in Germany. At 46%, almost half of all those questioned in the study on textile symbols stated that they recognized the Oeko-Tex test label. In 2002, a mere 24% of the population knew the label.
