New Total Organic Carbon Analyser Boosts Productivity for Municipalities

GE (USA) today introduced its new Sievers~* M5310 C Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analyzer to measure TOC in a broad range of raw and drinking water samples. GE developed the new M5310 C Analyzer to enhance its customers' productivity by producing TOC results in two minutes, twice as fast as its predecessor. "We asked our municipal customers what they needed most from their TOC technology and instrumentation for analysing raw water and drinking water. With their input, we developed our new Sievers M5310 C TOC Analyzer, which will help municipal customers by making their operations more productive and cost-effective," said Yuvbir Singh, general manager, engineered systems-water and process technologies for GE Power & Water. Designed to improve output, the M5310 C promotes simple operation and optimal data utilisation. Improving upon GE's popular Sievers 5310 C TOC Analyzer series, the new analyser now offers customers useful features including dual-stream configuration and percent TOC removal, which support the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's disinfectants and disinfection byproducts rule compliance.
