The new ETG (Italy) Portable syngas pre-treatment unit meets the requirement in gas analysis to have a clean gas to feed the analyser, removing dust/tar/moisture to obtain a clean and dried sample for analysis. Syngas frequently contains moisture, particulate, and even corrosive gases. It is important to remove these contaminants from the sample gas before analysing it. In some cases, the produced gas contains a variety of contaminants that should be removed from the sample prior to entering the analyser. Gasification plants that have municipal waste as their feed stock are frequently in this category.
