The International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank Group is proposing to invest $75 million in an Indian government-owned financial intermediary to be used for renewable energy and energy-efficiency projects, according to a project description released April 16.rnIf the IFC board approves the proposal, the money will be invested in India's Infrastructure Development Finance Company Ltd. (IDFC).
