Danish Agreement With Power Companies Expected to Double Energy Savings by 2015

An agreement between the Dan ish government and the country's seven main power distribution companies is expected to double the amount of energy saved by 2015, according to the Energy Agency (Energistyrelsen). The Nov. 12 deal, signed by Climate, Energy, and Building Minister Martin Lidegaard, will likely result in new incentives for businesses and individuals to save energy.
