U.S. Commission Plans November Vote On Case Targeting Solar Cells From China

The U.S. International Trade Commission is expected to vote Nov. 7 on whether the U.S. solar industry has been materially injured by a flood of low-priced imports of solar cells and modules from China after hearing conflicting testimony on the issue. Testimony was given Oct. 3 before the ITC in trade cases brought by petitioner SolarWorld Industries America in Hillsboro, Ore., which brought both dumping and countervailing duty petitions in 2011.
