Draft rules from Southern China's Guangdong province for its forthcoming carbon emissions trading system (ETS) offer some of the clearest guidelines yet among the seven pilot trading platforms that are expected to start operating in China over the next year, analysts told BNA. Guangdong's trading scheme will cover more than 800 companies across eight sectors: power generation and the cement, petrochemical, metals, ceramics, plastics, paper, and textile industries.
