摘要

The majority of substance evaluations carried out in 2012 by EU member state authorities under the REACH regulation will lead to requests to registrants for more information, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) said March 6. ECHA said member state authorities evaluated 36 substances in 2012, in accordance with the REACH Community Rolling Action Plan (CoRAP), but agreed in only four cases that the available information was sufficient to address concerns about the substances. The four substances that will not result in requests for more information were ethylene oxide, tributyl phosphate, M-tolylidene diisocyanate, and toluene, ECHA said.
