摘要

South Africa's minister of environmental affairs has published a draft amendment to the Air Quality Act that would clarify descriptions of listed processes and expand the number of activities requiring atmospheric emissions licenses. The notice builds on the March 2010 publication of a list identifying 10 categories of activities for which the licenses are required and detailing the upper limits for emissions of various pollutants from each activity as broken down into subcategories. It was published Nov. 23 in the official Government Gazette by Department of Environmental Affairs Minister Edna Molewa (33 INER 484, 5/12/10).
