摘要

Crude oil exports could create jobs, cut fuels costs for consumers and reduce the trade deficit, according to a study commissioned by the American Petroleum Institute (API). The study, released March 31, is part of an API effort to persuade the Obama administration and Congress to remove restrictions on U.S. oil exports. "Now that the U.S. is poised to become the world's largest oil producer, the economic case for exports is clear," Kyle Isakower, API vice president for regulatory and economic policy, said in a media conference call.
