Canada's EnGlobe Corp. is aiming to reduce its involvement in the biggest river cleanup project in Israeli history and will allocate part of the task to Israeli contractors. Kishon River Administration spokesman Naftali Reznikovich told Bloomberg BNA Jan. 12 that the company has begun "expedited negotiations aimed at reducing its involvement without harming the project, exceeding established contamination thresholds," or delaying the cleanup's completion. "The Canadian company continues to be part of the national project to rehabilitate the Kishon River," pending the negotiations' completion "in the coming days," he said.
