Canada Expands Pre- and Post-Market Pesticide Reviews and Registration Fees

Health Canada plans to significantly increase regulatory fees for pesticides products and introduce new fees for nontraditional pesticides and gener-ics to expedite risk reviews and cover a higher share of costs to review applications, according to the department. The proposed schedule is the first update of pesticide registration fees since 1997.
