OCTOBER UPDATE

On 19 July 2019, with the successful unloading of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) ship "Dapeng Star" from Australia, China's National Offshore Oil Guangdong Dapeng LNG Receiving Terminal (Guangdong Dapeng LNG) safely unloaded 1,000 LNG ships, becoming the first LNG receiving terminal to import more than 1,000 LNG ships in China. As the first LNG pilot project under the framework of China's energy strategy, Guangdong Dapeng LNG has played an active role in guaranteeing Guangdong's clean energy supply, alleviating air quality pressure, winning what has been described as the "Blue Sky Defence War" and promoting energy transformation.
