摘要

For lawyers, part of the fascination of the energy industry lies in the way that it impacts constantly on the evolving framework of public international law and the regulation of business between different countries and regions. Indeed, it plays a central role in shaping the evolution of that pattern at various levels. Several of the news items and surveys appearing in the past month's leading business media serve as a reminder of that, as do some of the pieces we publish in this issue of International Energy Law Review.
