QUEBEC ADVANCES IN PROCUREMENT OF ADDITIONAL WIND ENERGY

On August 28,2013, the Government of Quebec published a draft regulation regarding the procurement of an additional 450MW of wind energy capacity through a request for proposals (RFP) process. This is an important step towards the realisation of this procurement, which was originally announced in May 2013 as part of a plan to procure an additional 800MW of wind energy capacity.
