The Global Future of Energy Law 2017

This is the bold title to an interesting article in this edition of IELR, by a distinguished group of four lawyers, discussing a bold theme. Building on a similar study last year,2 it takes some of the economic energy data published over the last 12 months, and in particular predictions for the global energy sector to 2040,3 and coverts them into a series of forecasts for the legal and legislative developments that can be expected to accompany them, with a particular focus on Asia and Africa.
