Dubai's government has reportedly threatened to deport foreign construction workers that were involved in a strike and violent demonstrations against harsh pay and conditions in October. It was the latest in a series of similar protests, seen in the emirate over several years. Several construction workers were arrested when they were said to block roads and pelt police with stones.
