Minnich manufacturing's new A-1Q drill is a multi-purpose machine capable of drilling anchors, blast holes and piles. Options include the choice of two drifters, depending on whether soft rock or hard stone is being drilled, and it comes with a hydraulic levelling system that allows up to 90° of rotation in the standard configuration. With the TY76 hammer for soft materials, the machine's mast height is 110 in (2.79 m), although it packs down to a travel size of 64 in (1.63 m) and the total weight is 1000 lbs (454 kg). The more powerful version has a 140 in (3.56 m) mast, which comes down to 88 in (2.24 m) for travel, and the overall weight is 1200 lbs (545 kg). As with all of Minnlch's A-1 series drills, dust collection systems are available as an option.
