Stop & go

Manitou has introduced a hydraulic stop and start system, Stop&Go. Available as an option for the 14 to 18 m vertical reach MT telescopic handlers sold in Europe, the system is adapted for onsite applications where machines tend to idle between handling operations. The Stop&Go automatically cuts the engine after 30 seconds when it is not being used and when the hydraulic controls are not being operated. When the operator touches the accelerator or activates a control, the engine starts back up.
