Infrastructure opportunity

The Indian construction market has seen two years of declining demand - the first, in 2019 was due to the disruption of the general election and 2020's fall was due to, of course, Covid-19. The impact of the pandemic and an unprecedented national lockdown beginning 25 March 2020, saw sales decline an estimated 39% in the first half of the year. The pandemic also led to the postponement - twice - of Bauma Conexpo India, which is now scheduled to take place 20-23 April 2021. The show was set to occur in early November 2019 but due to Covid-19 was initially re-scheduled for 23-26 February 2021 in Gurugram, New Delhi. It will now be held on the new dates at the India Expo Centre, Greater Noida, Delhi.
