More growth to come?

Sales of construction equipment in the US and Canada should exceed 210,000 units this year. This is the healthiest the industry has been since the global financial crisis and is on a par with the highs which were seen in the mid-2000s. Preferences in equipment have changed over the last 10-15 years - one of the major shifts in North America has been the adoption of compact tracked loaders. Close to 65,000 of these machines should be sold this year, compared to 9,500 just ten years ago.
