摘要

The paper deals with a parabolic heat transfer fluid flow through channels with fins with periodically varying cross-section in the streamwise direction. Each fin has a trapezoidal shape and is inclined to the base surface. The finite difference method of the control volume approach is used for discretization of the partial difference equations and Simpler model for the solution of the velocity pressure coupling. Heat transfer and hydrodynamic characteristics are obtained and compared with results obtained for the continuous inclined fins.
