Web graphics to video...made easy

It's simply not enough for programme makers to air traditional video footage to engage television audiences these days. All kinds of channels, including speciality, national and regional channels, want to take advantage of diverse PC-based content, such as web pages, web cams, digital photographs, financial data and satellite imagery. Up until now though, the high-resolution capability of computer graphics cards has been far beyond the reach of standard definition television. Even with HDTV, which allows finer details to be displayed, the DVI signal from a computer isn't compatible with the video signal due to differences in their electrical interfaces, the colour spaces, and the spatial and temporal resolutions.
