Mobile devices now accompany users throughout the day and provide a vast array of options that enable them to communicate, express their personality through their devices, and organise their lives. The innate, personal connection between user and device has changed the way mobile content is consumed, blurring the lines between entertainment and information access, while accelerating the demand for more varied content. Users also now expect that a two way dialogue is present throughout content consumption to allow them to actively engage with the content and each other through services ranging from reactive comments about content to online communities to m-commerce capabilities such as buying wallpapers and ringtones of popular TV shows and music videos. Critically, these characteristics are increasingly becoming the cornerstones of any new service.
