Rigid is the eighth company that Colin has been brought into by either the banks, venture capitalists or major corporates. The speed of the acquisition by VPK even caught Colin by surprise, as he thought suitors would not appear for at least another year. Rigid Group offers an integrated corrugated packaging product range from its two modern manufacturing facilities which employ some 350 people. Rigid Corrugated's Desborough plant produces a wide variety of double faced corrugated transit cases and packaging products available in up to six colours. The company provides full in-house design and graphics services.
