Defexpo 2010 witnesses 50 pc surge in participants

Defexpo 2010, the land and naval defence systems exhibition was held in Pragati Maidan Exhibition Ground, New Delhi, India from February 15-18, 2010.rnThe sixth edition of Defexpo showed a substantial growth in exhibitor participation, reflecting the importance and stature of India both as a manufacturer and as a market for defense products.rnThis year's edition of Defexpo is the sixth in the series of India's Land and Naval Systems Exposition being organized biennially by the Ministry of Defence since 1999. The event has gone from strength to strength. This year, the participation of companies has increased by 50 per cent compared to last year. There were 38 official delegations, including 14 ministerial delegations.
