It was in 1915, fully 100 years back, that the British automotive firm Rolls-Royce developed a 300 hp reciprocating engine, named the Jenny. A century later, that automobile manufacturer is no longer a part of the company, but the engine maker has evolved into an iconic institution that is highly respected worldwide.
