Over the years, Israel has developed a reputation for its quality of products and innovation. At the centre of all its defence preparedness activities is IAI which has become a global player with a presence in over 100 countries round the world. "We are the biggest in Israel, very diversified, and leaders in various fields offering all kinds of defence solutions to our country and international clients," says Sharly Ben Chetrit. A lot of money is spent on R&D and on development of new technology. "We cater to the high-end market and work with local partners to ensure localisation and transfer of technology," he points out. In Korea, given the extent of its operations, IAI has established an office here.
