Fifteen Years of Convergence: East-West Imbalance and What the EU Should Do About it

The year 2019 marks the 15th anniversary of the Eastern EU enlargement that incorporated the Visegrad Four, the Baltic Three and Slovenia into the EU. But it also marks the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the great political transformation that paved the way for the German as well as the pan-European reunification.
