Comments on “a linear temperature-to-frequency converter using a thermistor”

1) In the above short paper,1 the experimental result as given in Fig. 3 shows that frequency varies approximately from 380 to 1000 Hz for a variation in temperature from 0°C to 70°C with Rc/RT0 = 0.23 whereas theoretical calculations from (6) will show a variation in frequency approximately from 10.2 to 12.0 kHz. Hence there is a large discrepancy between the theoretical and practical results leading to the doubt whether circuit output calibration can at all be predicted from theoretical design equations. The same is also applicable to other values of (Rc/RT0).
