When Lim Chow Kiat graduated from Singapore's Nanyang Business School in 1993, the young accountant could have joined a global bank. But partly for patriotic reasons, he signed on as a trainee at Government of Singapore Investment Corp., which then had a staff of 200. Lim, 42, has been rewarded for his loyalty.
