摘要

The relevance of industrial X-ray computed tomography (CT) continues to increase because of its many advantages. CT is a non-destructive method for measuring components three-dimensionally to find hidden features (for example shrink holes, cracks, inclusions, pores and so on) in the depths of a material and to determine physical variables such as porosity and density. CT allows the inspection and measurement of hidden and inaccessible specimen characteristics, which is not possible with other techniques. Due to the increasing dispersion of industrial CT, the method development and application areas are growing at a fast pace.
