Zetec Inc, a global leader in non-destructive testing (NDT) technology, has posted an on-demand webinar explaining how to maximise the capabilities of full matrix capture (FMC) and the total focusing method (TFM) algorithm. The webinar, presented by Guy Maes, Sales Engineer Director UT for Zetec, is designed for NDT service providers, technicians and asset owners who are looking for insight and guidance on how best to apply FMC and TFM for a code-compliant, high-quality inspection. The session highlights new tools for Zetec's TOPAZ®64 phased array ultrasonic testing (UT) instrument and Ultra Vision® software that are designed to maximise inspection efficiency and accuracy. It takes about 40 minutes to complete and covers these topics: 1.Principles of FMC data recording and advanced focusing techniques, including TFM 2.The benefits of FMC and advanced focusing, with a discussion on the conditions required to maximise their potential 3.Demonstrations of the new acoustic field tool and FMC raw data saving 4.Case studies that illustrate the use of advanced FMC data reconstruction algorithms across a range of inspection applications, including oil & gas and power generation.
