Guide to going global

Worldwide, there are now several thousand men and women who are listed on the International Register of Professional Engineers and who thus have the right to the title IntPE. A new leaflet from EC~(UK) - which maintains the Register's UK section - explains how the title came about, who is eligible to acquire it and why they would want to. In the UK. applicants must already be registered as Chartered Engineers (CEng). The International Register was created in 2001 by the Engineer's Mobility Forum (EMF). This comprises ECLK and the national engineering organisations of Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, South Africa and the USA.
