NDT Systems celebrates 40th year with move

During March of 2011, NDT Systems Inc completed a strategic relocation from its former facility to a customised and highly modern facility three times its former size, also in Huntington Beach, California, just a few blocks away. The move coincides with NDT Systems' 40th year in business. NDT Systems was incorporated on 28 April 1971 by founder Ron Botsko, a well-known figure in the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) and credited with many innovations in the field of NDT. From the start, the company's charter has been to develop, manufacture and market a comprehensive line of ultrasonic transducers and imaging devices. After 18 years of pace-setting growth, the company was acquired by E I DuPont in 1989. DuPont sold the business in 1993 to a private investor involved with medical imaging.
