London & Home Counties Branch makes a comeback!

22 people came to the April meeting, which was the first London & Home Counties Branch meeting to take place since 2006. It was held in Northwood, Middlesex, on 17 April 2013. The BINDT President, Tony Dunhill, gave a talk regarding the latest NDT methods used by Rolls-Royce. Our next meeting will be held on Wednesday 16 October 2013 at 6.00 pm at Sandberg Consultancy head office, 40 Grosvener Gardens, London SW1W OEB, which is a five-minute walk from Victoria Station. The speaker is Andrew Ramsey, who graduated from the University of Cambridge in 1986 and joined the UK Atomic Energy Authority's Harwell Laboratory near Oxford to develop software for non-destructive testing (NDT) image analysis. He has worked in X-ray computed tomography (CT) since 1992 and helped to develop one of the world's first PC-based CT systems.
