Radiation-resistant accelerometers

Monitran, a leader in the development and manufacture of transducers for the measurement of vibration, proximity and displacement, has launched the MTN/1100-R series of radiation-resistant constant current accelerometers. Developed for use in nuclear power stations, the sensors, which are top-entry and sealed to IP67, have a radiation resistance of 10 Mrads and are well-suited for long-term vibration monitoring in a variety of harsh radiation environments.
