NDT at the High Value Manufacturing Catapult

The High Value Manufacturing (HVM) Catapult is the catalyst for the future growth and success of advanced manufacturing in the UK. Its seven technology and innovation centres across the country collectively cover the full range of manufacturing technology capabilities, offering open access to leading-edge industrial scale equipment, world-class expertise and an environment of collaboration between industry, academia and government. Working with businesses of all sizes and in all sectors, the HVM Catapult takes risk out of the innovation process by bridging the gap between technology concept and commercialisation. Each HVM Catapult centre focuses on different areas within manufacturing and can, therefore, demonstrate various applications for NDT. In this article, examples for applications in NDT are sourced from four of the HVM Catapult centres.
