Raymond to review space-based BMD architecture plan at summit this week

Space Force Commander Gen. John Raymond will host a space architecture summit this week aimed at discussing the Defense Department's space-based missile warning and missile defense architecture. Shawn Barnes, the Air Force's civilian lead for standing up a new space acquisition and integration office, told reporters today following a Mitchell Institute event this week's summit follows a meeting last week in which various DOD organizations leading architecture design efforts convened to discuss who is responsible for which work within the department.
