Air Force and Navy officials are negotiating how the air service's burgeoning irregular warfare effort can leverage the Navy's work on the Imminent Fury aircraft program.rn"We are still in discussions with the Navy. We have looked at it and said that's interesting and that could help inform the [analysis of alternatives]," Robert Day, the Air Force director for irregular warfare requirements, told Inside the Pentagon in a June 9 interview.rn"If you look around, there are tons of potential candidates. There's the old stuff, there is stuff that is flying now and there is stuff that is still on the drawing board," Day said. "There is a specific set of criteria, there's a lot of candidates and one candidate may meet them all or several candidates may meet different portions."
