The Pentagon's intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance task force will be transitioned into a permanent entity within the department's intelligence directorate by the end of this year, according to a senior task force official.rnThe task force will become an "organic part" of the office of the under secretary of defense for intelligence, and will be responsible for the "organic functions and enduring functions" of supporting ISR operations worldwide, Col.
